Privacy
1. Data stored on your device
Content you create or import (notes, resources, attachments, settings, index data) is stored locally. Dome does not centralize your full library on its own servers by default.
- macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/dome/
- Windows: %APPDATA%/dome/
- Linux: ~/.config/dome/
2. Google services (OAuth)
If you choose to connect Google, Dome uses OAuth 2.0 on your computer. You can disconnect in Settings. Drive lets you import files you select. Calendar, if enabled, uses the permissions you grant. Tokens stay on the device.
3. Optional AI providers
If you configure a cloud provider, content sent in that conversation follows their policy. Ollama and keys you enter stay on your machine unless you send content to an external service.
4. Semantic index
The local index (vectors, text, and graph) stays on the device. Cloud OCR, vision, or embeddings only run if you configure them.
5. Product analytics
If present, analytics are opt-in and off until you enable them in the app.
6. Your rights
You can export data where the feature exists, revoke integrations in Settings, and delete the application data folder when uninstalling.
